Concurso Teatro Regional del Bío-Bío

Theodor Harasim joins us for his second project called Concurso Teatro Regional del Bío-Bío. More recently he worked with Plainspace DPC in the USA, and has been trying to promote more pro-green solutions wherever he goes.

Theodor Harasim joined the Architect-USJob+J1 Visa Program this year, and is very excited that he got his chance to make it over to the USA and contribute to the craft in New York City. For Theodor’s second submission to the Portfolio Challenge, they provided a project called Concurso Teatro Regional del Bío-Bío. Last time he submitted, Center for Environmental Research & Educationwhich provides a holistic approach to the designing, planning, and creation of a Center for the Sustainability movement in Romania.

Theodor Harasim graduated from the Polytechnic School of Madrid (ETSAM) in 2017, and has been working with the Romanian Green Building Council as a Program Specialist. More recently, he started working at Plainspace DPC in New York City in 2019, and he was able to work with us at Architect-US to help fulfill his Career Dreams.

In this project he seeks to define how one can design a theater that includes the nature around it, is also sustainable, and affordable by reusing renewable materials. Theodor has always been interested in learning how design and architecture can solve the problems that plague the environment, while also promoting more growth and healthier ecosystems.
