Rehabilitacion Casa Pastors

Cristina Asla Ortiz de Latierro joined the Architect-USJob+J1 Visa Program this year, and is very excited to get her chance to make it over to New York City and add her contribution to the Architecture scene. For her first submission to the Portfolio Challenge, Cristina is providing us with her project called Rehabilitacion Casa Pastors.

Cristina is now an Architect working in Amsterdam at Space Encounters eager to work on new challenges and daring projects. She has always resonated deeply with Art and design aesthetics, a spark that led her to obtain a diploma in Curatorial Studies. She wants to work towards engaging with projects that blend art and an understanding of the world we live in through space.

As you see below, the location where Casa Pastors is based, at the bottom of a hill, is in contrast to the church at the top of the hill. Moving from top to bottom, Cristina goes from a big picture perspective to a closer perspective that shows more details about how the design would be implemented. Included within that design is a garden on the inside of the house.

[Let us also share your great work with our Community and participate in the Portfolio Challenge today.]
