Bianca Dobru, one of our 🔝 stars from Romania, provided us with their Yichun Zen Resort project for the Portfolio Challenge! Dobru used Japanese Cedar Laminated Lumber for the design and as you can tell it is a major material used for the project. They have worked at UN Studio Architecture and have been a part of huge projects such as Karle town center in Bangalore.

Yichun Zen Resort aims to create Zen and a peaceful neutral space for those that are within its structures to find peace within themselves. The Japanese Cedar provides a light, bright environment that feels like nature organized in a structure that focuses on Zen. Now Dobru is aiming to make her next move in her career towards the US market! She has been working hard to gain as much experience as possible, while strategizing how to make the move over to NYC.
