Paid Summer Internship Program – Explore a Summer of Adventure and Design in the US

What if this summer you could live in one of the world’s most iconic cities while gaining hands-on experience in a top design studio?

The Architect-US Summer Internship Program gives you the chance to do just that — combining professional growth with a once-in-a-lifetime adventure in vibrant cities like New York, Miami, or San Francisco.

This is more than just an internship — it’s a life-changing adventure. Whether you find yourself sketching in a New York studio, exploring Miami’s Art Deco streets, or discovering the innovative energy of San Francisco, you’ll be surrounded by new perspectives that challenge and inspire you. Each day brings the chance to learn from leading professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and experience life in a city that never stops moving.

For many participants, it’s the first step toward an international career — and the start of a journey that transforms not only their portfolios but their outlook on life.

Hear directly from them!

Get a behind-the-scenes look with Elisa Perez, who takes us straight to the job site in New York City. In her video, Eliza shares what it’s really like to step into a U.S. design studio, collaborate with professionals, and see projects come to life beyond the screen.

Her experience captures one of the most exciting parts of the Architect-US Summer Internship Program — the chance to move from the classroom to the construction site, witnessing how world-class designs become reality.

For Eva Gallego, the program represents the culmination of a dream she’s had since first visiting New York at age 15. Now, joining O’Neil Langan Architects for a one-year internship, Eva is not only contributing to impactful projects in retail and high-end commercial architecture, but also immersing herself in the city she’s long admired.

Eva reflects on the adventure ahead: “This year will be about professional growth, yes, but also about personal discovery. I want to return home not just with a stronger portfolio, but with a broader mind and a deeper understanding of the world.”

Thanks to Architect-US, Eva navigated the J1 visa process and connected with a studio that matches her skills and goals, turning what once seemed like a complicated dream into a reality. Check out the full story here!
