Free Space

Matteo Terazzi is back in the Portfolio Challenge with his new project called Free Space. He tries to create a design that creates more of a sense of free space and openness that makes the users feel more at peace.

Matteo Terazzi joined our Architect-USJob+J1 Visa Program earlier this year, and previously submitted SynEnergy Hall to the Portfolio Challenge. This time around Matteo joins us to submit his newest project called Free Space.

Matteo considers himself an architecture lover interested in sustainability of buildings in relation to the individual, urban and natural landscape. Free Space continues his process of trying to design spaces that are open and make the users feel as if there is more space than there actually is. It was created by Matteo Terazzi during his studies at the Polytechnic University of Milan.

He has always been interested in creating spaces that promote collaboration and creates a sense of belonging to something bigger than just yourself. Currently he is working at Studio Razavi Architecture and looks forward to getting the chance to work in the USA and experience the professional culture in New York City.

[Let us also share your great work with our Community and participate in the Portfolio Challenge today.]

How would you design a structure that makes the users feel like there is much more free space than there actually is? Leave us your thoughts/insights in the comments section below!! 👇👇👇
