Ocean Retreat

Macarena Chaves Martinez has been part of the Architect-USJob+J1 Visa Program for a couple of months now, and has already won the Portfolio Challenge with StartMadA project that she worked on while in Madrid, which seeks to provide designs for a northern section of the city known for its financial district and tall towers. This area of Madrid is known for its role as the entrepreneurship hub for start-ups and finding top talent.

This time around Macarena is creating the designs for a leisurely escape for those that need it, and want to be near the ocean, and its relaxing sounds. As you can see below, she works with hexagons to design each space and its utility. The final product is a beautiful tower made of different materials.
