Carlos Gómez De Agüero takes on a new challenge in his most recent submission to the Portfolio Challenge. Carlos aims to preserve the Salt Flats of Janubio and how to maintain the natural beauty of the region through architectural solutions. Find out more!

Carlos Gómez De Agüero one of our top talents in the Architect-US Job+J1 Visa Program family, who last time submitted SMART UNIVERSITY to the Portfolio Challenge, which aimed to incorporate the Internet 4.0 to a university campus. He views the adoption of these new technologies as crucial to be able to keep up with the rest of the world and create individuals that are tech literate. Now he is back again with another project that is focused on the recovery of Salt Flats, it is called RECOVERING THE SALT FLATS OF JANUBIO.

[Do you want to be our next featured talent and participate in our monthly Portfolio Challenge? Submit your work here.]

The aim of the project, as you can see below, is to recover and preserve the Salt Flats of Janubio, which has many different threatening factors that it must be protected from. By sectioning off parts of the Salt Flats it maintains the Salt in the area, rather than being blown away.

Carlos has now been working at Jordan Parnass Digital Architecture since February of last year!
