Falling Light

Tiago Ferreira is back with another top notch project that aims to create a space for sumo wrestlers, yogi bears, and other community engaging activities. He aims to create spaces for natural light that are designed to reach as many areas of the building as possible. Not only that, but the transition from floor to floor is slight with the vertical transitions.

Tiago Ferreira joined the Architect-USJob+J1 Visa Program about a year ago, and has been quite active within the Portfolio Challenge. Last time he submitted his project called the Bridge House which focused on creating a house on top of a thin bridge. This time around Tiago is submitting a project called Falling Light, which aims to provide different sectioned off areas of a building that each provide space for a different activity. The natural light is also accounted for as you can see down below in the drawings.
