Arunachalam lakshmanan, a recent Graduate of Architecture from the University of Melbourne with 3 yrs of work experience as an architectural assistant and intern for architecture/interior design firms in India. He joins us for the first time and submitted his project called THE VEIL for the Portfolio Challenge.

Arunachalam views himself as someone that is passionate about what he does and strives to push himself to learn new things. If you look through his portfolio of works you will see how he explores architecture in response to culture, community or environment of a project, by imbuing key characteristics into the experience and the character of the design outcome.
THE VEIL represents a solution for covering over older infrastructure that could be renovated to provide even more utility to the community, while also beautifying the area of the city.
For this project he used Revit, Rhinoceros V6, Sketchup, Photoshop, and V-ray.
