La Carcova

Camila Rodriguez joins us for the first time to share her sustainable living design that she created during her time studying at the University of Buenos Aires. Join us to take a look at Camila’s wonderful project!

Camila Rodriguez, one of our top notch architects in the Architect-USJob+J1 Visa Programjoins us to submit her project called La Carcova. Camila worked on this project while studying at the University of Buenos Aires, and its focus is to create sustainable living for a small community near the river bank in Argentina. As you can see below there is a differentiation between the recycling of organic waste for corporate use, and the inorganic waste being used for artistic workshops for the community.

By creating a cycle of reuse that incorporates the community and commercial use of product waste, the design aims to create a resilient community with a closed circuit market. Below you will also see the design of parks near the riverbank that provides spaces for connection and markets.

Camila used Rhino, Photoshop, V-Ray, and Revit for this wonderful project!

[Let us also share your great work with our Community and participate in the Portfolio Challenge today.]

How would you design a sustainable community in your town? Leave us your thoughts/insights in the comments section below!! 👇👇👇
