Hi there!
This is Laura, a young architect from Barcelona looking for a new professional challenge. After getting my feet wet on the field during the last four years in Spain, I am ready for a new adventure. I am a person with many concerns and eager to learn. I am a lover of music, sports, art and life. A dreamer and a fighter and I am convinced that when you have a dream, you have to hold on tight to it and not let go. Do whatever it takes to achieve it. As crazy as those dreams sounds in your mind, if you really desire them and you focus your efforts on achieving them, they do come true.
My dream was to come to the United States and immerse myself in the American culture. Being able to have a professional experience in this country, learn different methodologies and grow personally and professionally. I decided to start building that dream and I searched for possible opportunities in various architecture firms in Florida. In that ideal vision I had in mind there were Sun & Palm trees. After searching and searching one amazing opportunity was presented to me: being part of the Bermello Ajamil & Partners team and being able to work with them in large scale projects.
I contacted Architect US to help me with the Visa process since it was my first time doing something like this. I must say that I am very happy to have gone hand in hand with professionals who know these procedures, since they give you the assurance that everything will turn out well. That peace of mind is priceless, especially when it comes to something that can change your life.
This is the way I see this new chapter. I think it will be career changing and that’s why I am so excited to start this adventure. I am going to live this experience to the fullest and make the most of it. It will definitely be an enriching and exciting ride and I am sure I will make new connections that will last a lifetime.
