Manuel Mateu Sanchis joins us for the fourth time in the Architect-US Portfolio Challenge, he submitted a project called Time Machine, which focuses on creating a space for the community that reflects different time periods for each demographic.
When he finished school, he started his studies in architecture, at the Polytechnic University of Valencia ( ETSAV), where he discovered a new world of possibilities. During the 2016/2017 school year, Manuel decided to take advantage of the Erasmus scholarship to expand his knowledge and went to Munich, Germany; in one of the best European technical universities (Tu Munchen). In 2019 he graduated as a design professional from IESE Business School – University of Navarra.

Once completing his bachelor and master studies in Architecture, he decided to leave Spain to experience being an Architect in Paris. His first stop was the acclaimed studio Dominique Perrault, and through this experience he was able to take on large scale projects for the first time. Not only this, he also tried his hand at architecture competitions and learned how to work in a more collaborative way with his team.
