Ines Raposo joins us for their first time in the Architect-US Portfolio Challenge, and he is submitting his project called The One, which is a residential and retail project that highlights her experience working from Schematic design to Construction documents to completion.
The project was completed in 2021 by her current employer MetroUrbe in Lisbon and Eduardo Souto Moura Architects. The team that worked with Ines on the project included Eduardo Souto Moura, Andre Tavares, Helder Cordeiro, Luis Frasco, and Rute Fonseca. As the first image states, The One is a New House in the City Center.

Ines is a European Licensed Architect from Portugal, and holds a Master in Architecture degree from ISCTE University Institute of Lisbon. As an architect, she is committed to environmental consciousness and an interdisciplinary approach towards conceptual, design and structural solutions. In a professional setting, she enjoys working the most on a range of different projects, ranging from scales, types and sizes, especially public buildings and spaces, infrastructures, industrial renovations and residential buildings.
She is extremely hard-working, a good problem solver and detail-oriented. In addition to that, a super fun person to have on a team! Also, she worked as an independent architect, designing several interior design projects and competitions.
At the moment, she is looking for an entry-level position in New York and is working with Architect-US in the Job+J1 Visa Program to find work in New York City.
