If you are around the city and you are looking for something different to do will still keeping the inner festive spirit alive, then this is a perfect activity for you to do. The Christkindlmarket has been a city tradition since 1996 and continues to attract locals and visitors from all around. This German style market offers international and traditional local foods, Glühwein (mulled wine), and the possibility to book a little wooden hut with friends and family so that you can enjoy the tradition of Stammtisch.

If you have watched classic Christmas movies like Home Alone, then I am sure that you are keen on spending the holidays around New York city. The Bank of America Winter Village is a beautiful installment which hosts more than 150 glass kiosks that have goods from local and international artisans.
