Summer is ending… I’ve realized that Chicago is a city where the seasons change very quickly and how could it be otherwise, summer is very short. Despite this, we enjoyed it a lot!
During summer the plans on the city are something different. Spend a day on the beach, boat rides, having a drink at any bar on the Riverwalk, picnics in the parks, volleyball on the beach, dinner in a terrace, bbq with friends. These are some of the plans with which we have been able to enjoy Chicago in summer. Now that the days are shorter we can see the end of summer, the end of these plans..
About my work at JGMA, I couldn’t be happier, the team is amazing, very attentive and close. They have a lot of patient to explain everything to me. Although I have to confess that I still notice the difference in the way of working compared to Spain, I hope to have it more controlled over time, just like the language barrier.
At the office, they promote fellowship a lot, we have several company events a month, taking advantage of the summer they also form a volleyball and sketching team, where I have been able to get to know my coworkers better.
Now that I am taking on more responsibility and I am having the opportunity to work on different projects. For all this I am very grateful for this job and for the trust in me.
I am looking forward to this experience continuing, both professionally and personally. I want to continue getting to know this country so I have a couple of organized trips, I will inform you of my next steps, I hope to enjoy them as much as I have up to now.
