Already March?
Omg, I cannot believe it is almost March already! This month may have been shorter, however, it really passed by super fast.
We´ve been having the most strange weather; we´ve had little shy snowflakes falling from the sky, spring days, the most beautiful sunny days and even all that things on the same day!! Absolutely crazy. But after all, looks like spring is knocking on the door and little by little winter is saying goodbye to New York. This winter has been much nicer than what I was expecting.
Discovering places
As this month was not that ugly in terms of weather, my friend and I spent the weekends trying to discover cool places and spots. And this month we did great. A super cool ramen place, Boba Tea, 99 cent pizza, the MOST delicious cookie from Levain (absolute heaven)… typical things from NY that we had to try for sure! This city never ceases to amaze us!
Fun at work
Here, February has been finally a much more relaxed month regarding to Covid, so lots of activities that were canceled due to it are coming back! This is the case of the Cinema Nights that once a month we have in our office. A funny night to enjoy a movie with pizzas and cocktails inspired in the era of the film. Such a fun thing to do with our workmates once work is over!
Finally visit from home!
No doubt the absolute best thing of February has been the visit of my friends from Reinosa, my hometown. They were here only for a few days, but those days were amazing! I was so happy to have them here and show them the City… It was the first time here for most of them, so it was a blessing being the one to show them around and witness their faces every time we went to a really impressing spot.
