A short February, just 28 days, and it has gone by very quickly. Surely the fact that I have been busier than the previous months has had something to do with it.

First of all, GREAT NEWS, I already have a flat!!!! Well, I’m actually moving in in a few days. No more hassle of searching and spending money on Airbnb. The best thing about it? it’s close to the beach and to work. And in the area there is a lot of atmosphere, and many bars and restaurants to try the typical food here. I’ve discovered that I love Mofongo, and that you can have it with meat or seafood.

On the other hand, to be able to discover the other places on the island, I realised that a car is essential. Public transport is not very good, and walking …. is not the best way to get around. So I have to look into renting one. For the time being, though, my colleague Javier from the office takes me everywhere.

Luckily I feel very comfortable in the office. This month I have finally started a new architecture project from scratch. From the birth of the idea. Maybe that’s why February has passed me by so quickly. We are racing against the clock to present it to the client. I feel excited to be honest. Little by little you get into the rhythm and learn the methodology of the office. They are a big family. NY and PR work hand in hand.

Finally, there have been no visits to other cities this month. The beach is my weekend retreat to disconnect and then go out to «janguear a algún palo» or to some bar as they say here. I’ve been partying a bit more and I’ve started to get to know the Puerto Rican nightlife. I have to say that it is music, dance and colour. The music goes with them everywhere. I hope to learn from their dances and customs.
