8 Movies Every Architect Should Watch

1. The Infinite Happiness (2015)

A documentary, The Infinite Happiness follows the lives of residents that dwell in the innovative ‘8′ housing development. This community building in Copenhagen was constructed by Danish architect, Bjarke Ingels. The tenants express their happy and funny everyday stories. There’s also an instance where a resident shares his anxiety towards tourists that explore the building as a public space. In fact, the large ideological barrier of social housing is what 8 seeks to overcome.

2. The Architect (2016)

This movie focuses on the life of architect Miles Moss, who has been hired to design the dream house for a married couple. His arrogance, self-centredness and obsession with his work brings out the stereotypes that construct an architect.
