Exploring East LA

I’ve taken lately the train from Santa Monica Downtown to Los Angeles Downtown, which takes approximately 40 min. and is so cheap compared to taking Uber, to explore some of the neighborhoods I was curious about and how is living in there.

So I walked from Downtown to famous Echo Park, to see the lake I knew from some TV Shows and Films. I’ve only been in Echo Park at night to watch some gigs like Ty Seagull at The Echo venue.

I walked to Silver Lake, where all of a sudden I found great vegetation and a totally different environment with parks and another big Lake. I loved the houses and picturesque style with the mountains on the background. I don’t know for how long I walked but my idea was to reach to the Griffith Observatory to see the sunset. So from Whole Foods in Silver Lake I took an Uber to not lost the view as It was already getting dark.

I loved the view from the Griffith Observatory and all the way to arrive was beautiful without construction in the hills and smelt to vegetation so good.

Just the view of all LA with the famous Hollywood Sign in the mountains, contemplating the sunset makes it worth to visit many times.
