November’s Adventures in Tucson

My third month in Tucson started with a family trip to Aruba, I was there from November 3rd to the 6th. It was a fun trip where I got to relax in the beach with my parents. After the trip the next weekend I went to Corbett´s to have brunch with my friends.

On my work at CLL we planned a movie night after office, and we watched a documentary called Light & Space. It was interesting, and we had a lot of fun, we ate some snacks and pizza. The next day we had cake to celebrate two coworker’s birthdays!

I enjoy going out to discover new places so this month I went to visit La Encantada which is a two-level outdoor shopping center in north Tucson. The place has nice architecture and open breezeways for walking.

For Thanksgiving I had dinner with my friends at home and we had a wonderful time. It was a nice break from my regular schedule which I got to rest and relax, and I got the opportunity to see Tucson´s Christmas tree on Congress Street.

Nowadays I already feel familiar with the area and can easily move around the city. I enjoy my morning route to work through the bike boulevard and my daily iced lattes! Work has been nice too, I enjoy the projects we are currently working on.

I am also getting used to winter in Tucson. I come from a tropical country so cold weather is unfamiliar but manageable. The good thing is that days are sunny and warm while nights are cool. It is getting colder but still feels enjoyable. It is not common to see snowfall here, however it has happened before, and I would love to see it! So far I’m glad of my time here.
