Hello everyone,
This month has been non-stop madness. I have had the good fortune to travel to Washington DC to visit some friends I met a couple of years ago when I studied at Cornell.
Trips to DC
The two weekends that I have spent in the city have served to make me fall in love with it completely. It is a much smaller city than New York, much cleaner and more orderly, and who knows if in the future I could be living there. Tourist attractions, such as museums and exhibitions are free, and that makes it culturally a richer city. It was a shame not to be able to visit the capitol, but the truth is that I didn’t have much time either. I 100% recommend going, since, as I said, I liked it a lot and it’s not too far from New York. You can travel there by train or bus and it takes between 4 and 5 hours depending on the means of transport. I personally chose to travel by bus since the price of the train ticket was quite high.
Winter is comming to the city
As for new york, everything remains the same. A lot of work and a lot of rugby training. It is becoming more and more noticeable that winter is approaching, and the temperatures are no longer what they were a couple of months ago. This weekend is going to be something different than usual. I am super excited to live my first Halloween here. It is a party that has been preparing for more than a month and I love that all the houses and gardens are decorated. You just have to see how excited the children are to go from house to house doing the well-known ¨trick or treat¨.
I think I’ll leave it here for now, I’ll tell you how the party went next month.
