March in NYC

Living in New York City during March is a unique experience that offers a mix of challenges and opportunities. I appreciate the city’s vibrancy and diversity. The start of spring brings a sense of anticipation, as people start to come out of hibernation and enjoy the city’s many offerings.

One of my favorite things about New York City is exploring the different neighborhoods. Each area has its own distinct character and culture, and there’s always something new to discover. From the historic architecture of the Upper East Side to the trendy vibe of Williamsburg, the city never ceases to amaze.

March is also an ideal time to experience the city’s cultural offerings. The world-renowned museums, galleries, and performance venues host new exhibitions and shows, providing endless opportunities to learn, discover, and be entertained. As an architecture trainee, I am particularly drawn to the city’s architectural wonders. The city’s skyline is dotted with towering skyscrapers and the streets are lined with buildings that span architectural styles from Beaux-Arts to Art Deco.

Living in New York City as an architecture trainee is an exciting experience. The city offers a wealth of resources, including lectures, workshops, and events, that allow me to learn and grow as an aspiring architect. As for the training, it keeps on getting more and more interesting. Working on different projects which are all in different phases really helps understanding the full cycle. Also working on projects at different scales really helps envisioning the wide scope of architecture; from the tiniest detail to the macroscopic scale. This month was very interesting especially since I experience another project submission; it is crazy how differently projects are handled based on the client and the country it is going to be built in. In conclusion it was a very interesting month.
