One of the things that I wanted to experience was to work in a big competition. I was not supposed to work on that project but finally they needed some help and I could jump in. It was a competition for a whole city in Asia and we were competing with the biggest international firms. It is impressive to see 3 offices Ny dC and Hong Kong working in the same project with more than 20 persons, all coordinated in the same design and philosophy. It was not easy and the amount of work was the hugest I’ve ever seen. My job was basically to adapt the architecture to the urban planning , that means more that 400 buildings ,most of them super towers. Everyone had to be different and unique to represent what this city would look like in the future.I enjoyed a lot, It reminded me when I was a teenager and I played to SIM CITY. The last days went crazy and it seemed that we were not going to reach the end! But we start to chain the production with HK office. We sent them our improvements at night , when they were waking up, and they continued … and viceversa. It was a 24 h production machine and you can’t imagine the amount of work that we produce in 3 days. Now I can’t wait to know the winner, It would be incredible to parcipate in a completely new city project..!!
