The celebration is based in the first people that colonized the first British colonies in the north of the country, and they eat the famous Turkey because it was the closest animal they had to hunt. They gathered together in those lands far away from home to say “thank you” for being all together and safe.
And our night was different, but with some things in common. I went with some Europeans and South Americans friends to the house of another friend who is married to an American girl, so we were, far away from home, but felt like there. We weren’t family and that’s what american people tella as Friendsgiving. Anyhow, the food was spectacular, specially the Stuffing.
So basically it’s a night to share to the people you love or in our case, you will love in the future.
