Some days ago the Museum Mile Festival took place in the city. This is a cultural event that consists on giving free access to museums on fifth avenue from 82nd st to 105th st in Manhattan. It is a great opportunity to visit wonderful places and expositions that may seem expensive otherwise. In my particular case I entered the Church of the Heavenly Rest with access to areas that are normally close to the public and the Cooper Hewitt Museum, which shows design on different fields such as architecture, interiors, fashion and also in movies.
