These days, I’m getting ready for a new adventure in the United States, one that I believe will become one of the most exciting and rewarding experiences of my life.
A few months ago, I discovered Architect-US and started exploring the programmes they offer. What immediately caught my attention was the opportunity to gain international experience and continue growing as a young architect in a completely new environment.
After consulting with their team and receiving guidance throughout the process, I decided to take this opportunity and begin my journey toward finding an internship in the United States. After completing the application process, I was matched with Inglese Architecture & Engineering, where I’ll begin my internship in just a few weeks.
As my departure gets closer, everything is starting to feel more real. I feel a mix of excitement, curiosity, and a little nervousness about what lies ahead. Although I’ve visited the United States during previous summers, this experience will be completely different. This time, I won’t just be visiting, I’ll be living and working there. I’ll be creating a new routine, meeting new people, and adapting to a different culture and environment.
For the next year, New Jersey will be my new home. I’m looking forward to exploring the area, learning from new experiences, and discovering how this journey will shape me both personally and professionally. Before this new chapter begins, I’m also enjoying these final weeks with my family while preparing for my role as an architectural intern.
I’m incredibly grateful to the Architect-US team for their guidance and continuous support throughout this journey, as well as to Inglese Architecture & Engineering for giving me this opportunity. I know this experience will bring challenges, but I’m ready to embrace them, learn as much as I can, and grow along the way.
This is only the beginning, and I’m excited to share the lessons I learn, the experiences I gain, and the memories I create throughout this new chapter.
