The past month at ASGG has been an exciting and rewarding time. I’ve been focused on assisting with the documentation of two buildings as we prepare for an upcoming schematic design deadline. It’s been a great learning experience, and I’ve enjoyed contributing to the project while working alongside a talented team. The deadline has kept me busy, but I’ve also had the opportunity to enjoy Chicago’s vibrant social scene with my coworkers.
I can’t believe it’s already been 8 months since I started at ASGG. Time has flown by, and it’s been a pleasure working in such a dynamic environment. Outside of work, I’ve been exploring the city, going out for dinners, and enjoying after-work activities with my colleagues. It’s been a great way to unwind and bond with the team.
A highlight of my last month was attending a casual Saturday night football gathering at a coworker’s house. We watched the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Baltimore Ravens, and the game was absolutely thrilling! It was a fun evening filled with great conversation and laughter. I also got the chance to meet some of my coworker’s friends, and one of the highlights was meeting Ricky, a super friendly little dog.
I have also been participating in the ASGG bowling league, where our office bowls every Wednesday against other architecture firms in Chicago. Recently, my bowling skills need improvement but with practice I think I can get better! I look forward to getting a perfect 300!
Looking back, the past few months have been a blend of hard work and enjoyable moments. I’ve learned a lot both professionally and personally, and I feel lucky to be a part of such a supportive and welcoming team. I’m looking forward to the next chapter of my time here at ASGG and all the new experiences it will bring.
