Here we are, arrived at the last post.
I would like to dedicate it to all the people who, in this year and a half, have contributed to making these 18 months incredible and special for me.
First of all, to the most important person in my life: my boyfriend Giuseppe, who encourages me every day to push myself a little further beyond my limits and with whom I have shared and still share every unforgettable moment. 18 months ago, we embarked together on this fantastic adventure, not knowing exactly what lay ahead, and today I can say that I couldn’t be happier to have made this choice together with him (and our wonderful cat Mocio).
Then, all my fantastic colleagues, who have been much more than just coworkers. They have been my friends and my family. And Daniel, the best boss I could have ever imagined. I will never be able to thank my lucky stars enough for leading me to #RDLR Architects and at the same time #Architect-US for accompanying me on this journey.
Finding ourselves catapulted to the other side of the world has been an extraordinary experience. I discovered that Texans are the kindest and most generous people I have ever met. These months have taught me so much! Not only professionally but also, and above all, personally. And at the same time, I think of all the trips I had the opportunity to take and all the wonderful places I have seen and experienced: Louisiana and New Orleans, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, California traveling along the coast from LA to San Francisco, Nevada and Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon and Utah, New York, and then my favorite, the West Texas with Big Bend and Marfa. It won’t be easy to pack my bags and think about my next chapter, but I would like to tell everyone who is thinking of having this experience: don’t wait a minute longer! It couldn’t be any better than this.
