Indidesign is an award-winning design studio, specialized in interior design and branding for luxury hospitality and high-end commercial interiors. In 2006, only three years after being established, Indidesign received the Hospitality Design Award as Best Emerging Firm in Hospitality. The work of Indidesign has been published on domestic and international publications including Architectural Digest, Wallpaper, Time, Interior Design and Metropolis. Since 2009 they have ranked Top 50 Most Prominent Hospitality Design Firm in the country by Interior Design magazine.

Beatrice Girelli
Beatrice Girelli RIBA is the principal designer and the design spirit of Indidesign. She received her Master Degree in Architecture at the University of Rome, La Sapienza, with a specialization in Historic Preservation/Restoration. Beatrice has almost 20 years of experience in the field of commercial interior architecture and design with a special emphasis on luxury hotel design.
Beatrice is continually challenging herself and her design work through extensive research. One of her goals is to create innovative solutions for projects of different aesthetics and characteristics while bearing in mind operational and technical requirements.
Beatrice has successfully completed design projects on four continents for major hospitality corporations as well private owners.
She was one of the honorees of “Wave of the Future 2007”. An international award that recognizes the most interesting and promising talents in the hospitality design community.

Tim Smith
Tim Smith, the Managing Partner of Indidesign, has thirty years experience in the design and implementation of integrated technology. Tim has worked for some of the most prominent American and European technology companies, developing proprietary technologies and designing commercial systems around the world.
His broad list of projects include television broadcasting facilities, professional sport stadiums, corporate meeting facilities, recording studios, night clubs, restaurants, hotels and integrating converging technologies into private motor yachts.
Tim overseas Indidesign special projects whose delicate balance of technology and interior design is at the essence of the project. His goal is to create outstanding environments where guests can experience the seamless layering of advanced technologies and successful design solutions.
Indidesign Team
The team is formed of talented and skilled design professionals from diverse backgrounds sharing a common goal; collectively they speak more than 10 languages.
Due to the size of their practice and the open-studio interdisciplinary approach to design, all their team members must demonstrate to have versatile skills and have been trained to approach the design process in a holistic manner and to never lose focus on the next step and the ultimate goal.
Each one of their designers brings a unique skill set and a personal perspective to each project and has the experience and talent to navigate the various steps of the design and construction process and to see their collective ideas develop into tangible results.
Architect-US Participants
Christian joined Indidesign in March 2019 and worked with them up until March 2020. Due to the negative impact of the pandemic on the industry Christian had to go back to Italy to work as a Freelancer. Before moving to Los Angeles, he was a Designer at MDU Architecture in 2017. He has been working on improving his 3D graphic design skills to provide more value to his next work opportunity. In April 2022 Christian had the opportunity to join the Indidesign team again where he is currently working.
In 2018, Marina graduated from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (ETSAM) and moved to Los Angeles a year later to start working with Indidesign. She was able to work with Architect-US to get the opportunity and up until March 2020 was working with them. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic she had to leave to go back home to Spain. Now she is working in Barcelona at RCR Aranda Pigem Vilalta Arquitectes as an Architect.
