The conclusion of this remarkable experience is rapidly approaching, and a few days ago, I found myself faced with the task of signing the evaluation conducted by RDRL Architects, the architectural firm, about my performance. As I delved into the responses to the survey questions, an overwhelming wave of emotions swept over me. It is true that we may have deviated from the prescribed order and timeline of the program’s milestones, but it feels as though I have accomplished far more than anticipated. This year and a half has become an invaluable period of immense personal and professional growth.
I take immense pride in declaring that I now possess the ability to comprehensively manage a project, witnessing its evolution and progression through each and every phase. Each passing day, I am reminded of how fortunate I am to have discovered this opportunity for growth within a studio that has consistently supported and nurtured my development. Their generosity has been immeasurable. Although I recall that Houston was not initially at the top of my list when considering my move to America, I can now confidently assert that fate has smiled upon me, revealing that I was meant to be here. Few applicants in the program can attest to such a profoundly positive experience within their respective studios. I am convinced that my journey has been exceptionally rare.
A warm smile tugs at my lips as I contemplate my project, which has now transitioned into the construction phase. However, the thought of bidding it farewell in the near future sends a bittersweet pang through my heart.
