As said in the title of this post, spring is juts around the corner, and I couldn’t be more exited about it! I truly believe that it is not only me the only one that feels really pumped up, as yesterday everyone seemed to be enjoying the weather outside.
I took a walk around Brooklyn Bridge Park, which happens to be my favorite park in the city, and it was packed! Then, I headed to Prospect Park to enjoy a pickinc with my friends, and the park was full. Everywhere I looked, I could see groups of kids playing with a ball, people walking their dogs, cycling, jogging…etc. The atmosphere was incredible and everyone looked happier than the day before.
Personally, spring is the season I liked the most. For me is like seen the light at the end of the tunnel, hahaha! After the long, dark and cold winter, is the perfect season to experience new adventures and practice new activities. I am also very exited for the rubgy season to be back. Saturday is a rugby day, and I can not think of a better plan than laying outside while watching some games with my friends.
I don’t really have very big plans, but just going to the beach during the weekend sounds like a really good plan. Moreover, the city feels more alive the better the weather is, and on sundays many farmers markets can be found around. I really recommend checking them out if you haven’t! They have fresh vegetables, fruits and products like chesee for a very good price. I also think that from April on there will be more events around the city, most of them being free. So, keep your eyes and ears open!
