A design proposal has been submitted for a new high school campus in Brooklyn. The project, called the Launch School at Floyd Bennet Field, will be built on a former airfield and will have a series of open-air walkways connecting buildings and landscapes. In addition, it will have a renovated and modernized central building, an urban farm and outdoor classroom, and a sensory and harvest garden. The campus will also feature a greenhouse with hydroponics, a central community room, and spaces for outdoor art, teaching, performance, and exploration.
