The concept of the ‘Loops and Lenses’ team was developed to create new connections between «the museum and the Park, between science and culture, and visualize the entire site as a place of discovery. The tar pits of La Brea encompasses the only active paleontological research site in the world in an important urban area, with asphalt leaks, surrounding parks and the George C. Page Museum building.
