VERSE 6: SUNSET, LORDS OF THE RINGS AND LABOR DAY

Fall is right around the corner, which means that summer’s bloom is starting to fade, nevertheless I am making much of this season that will soon be gone. I have been blessed to connect with amazing people who have push the summer experience to the next level, for sure I will never forget 2022 Summer.

SUNSET.

After weeks trying to hang out there we were. It was a Tuesday after work, and I was invited to come over and have dinner with them who I now consider friends. First of all, their apartment was a piece of art, everything was placed so well that it displayed all the beauty it could. An Italian dish was being prepared while between conversations we were getting to know each other better. I had never had dinner at a roof deck under such a beautiful sunset and even better company. For sure this was a little break of the work schedule and a reminder to pause and enjoy life with the people we feel comfortable to be around.

LORDS OF THE RINGS.

This was a Sunday evening after church, I ended watching a 3+ hours Lords of the ring extended edition movie with a group of guys that have been encouraging to me, watermelon, popcorns and a Kitty cat were part of this guy’s only hang out. It was fun to spend time with others that share common interest even when they are in different stages of life.

LABOR DAY.

Holidays here a very limited, that’s why when you hear one is coming you must plan enough to enjoy the most. Labor Day was so far one of the most relaxing and beautiful days I have ever had in this country. I bought a hammock and drove to the riverside with friends, a hammock/picnic/Reading party was the plan for the morning, as usual Schuylkill River was majestic. For the afternoon we played Frisbee and enjoyed ourselves until it was time to go home.

Definitely summer is more than sun and shorts, friends and company is what truly makes this season enjoyable, nevertheless if you are up north in the USA start preparing for rain and cold because fall and winter are right around the corner.

Stay tuned! See you all in Verse 7.
