Shopping at Farmer’s market

Hello everyone, how is going? are you enjoy your holidays in this hot August?

I was use to enjoy the summer and August was one of my preferred month: everyone on vacation, summer vibes and a lot of party but once I moved in Miami for this experience, my feeling about August have changed!

Here, at this time of the year, the city is super hot -literally you cannot breath- and it can start a rain storm without any notice: this is tropical weather and now I made its acquaintance.

The NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) has declared that the hurricane season for this year will took place from first of June 2023 to 30th of November 2023. Nonetheless, the worst period is in August and September  because the probability to get a hurricane are higher. So far no bad hurricanes gave notice of any arrival, hurray!

Said that, on saturday and sunday is not worth going to the beach and my  new passion buy grocery but in a differnt way: going at the farmers markets!

Farmers market are temporary fairs that usually take place on the weekend. Almost each neighborhood have its own and I like to go each time in a different one to explore them!

here you will find organic products like vegetables, fruits and kitchen- made delights freshly baked. Products came from small local farms and shop there is a good way to support them. Without any doubt, this is a winning option for both parties  because you will help them and in change you will have fresher and cheaper grocery that the ones bought at the stores.

On internet you will find a lot of list that suggest you the best ranked farms so you can use those guide to help you. I  prefer to discover them by my self!

hope I give you some interesting tips,

Talk later:)
