Manhattan will expand its coastline to fight future floods

Manhattan is preparing to modify its coastline to combat the rising level of the sea. Faced with the expectation that the streets of the Financial District will suffer daily flooding by the end of this century, the mayor of New York (Bill de Blasio) has announced plans to build an infrastructure that protects the south of Manhattan.
