Eagle’s parade: Super Bowl champions!

The night after the game people went outside to celebrate and went crazy, singing, wearing outfits , climbing light poles and even taking traffic lights out of their place…

This past February my citie’s American Football team (Philadelphia Eagles) won the Super Bowl, and the city was on fire!

The night after the game people went outside to celebrate and went crazy, singing, wearing outfits , climbing light poles and even taking traffic lights out of their place…

A couple of days after, the Celebration Parade took place. Around 3 million people from all over the country arrived to Philly just to see the Players passing by and all the celebration process. Fans stared lining up around the Art Museum the night before (the parade began around 11 am) so they could get the best spots! It was freezing!

I was very lucky that my boss has his house right in front of the Art Museum, so me and my co workers could  all experince a privileged view from his rooftop. I’ve never seen that many people in my life! Some fans got very drunk and aggressive too, we were constantly trying to get them out our bosses back yard, since they broke the fence and were sneaking in using his yard as “public bathroom”. Crazy

Overall, it was a fun experience and something that happens not often at all! I’m happy I could be part of it!
