The british firm Ecotricity, the world’s first Green Electricity company according to their website, revealed at a business breakfast the designs realised by Zaha Hadid Architects for an ambitious project called “Gateway to Stroud”, a Green Technology Hub in Stroud, England.
The designs of the project, still at the concept stage, shows a series of glass and wood buildings and a footbridge made of wood that will lead to the future Forest Green Rovers Footbal Club Stadium, also made entirely of wood.
A spokesperson for ZHA stated:
The Green Technology Hub proposals apply the latest sustainable design technologies with ecologically sound materials and construction methods to create an integrated community for world-leading research and development.
According to the company website, Eco Park will be a centre for local sports and leisure activities, allowing people in the Stroud District and beyond to use the facilities and equipment.
