No words could describe the feeling of being inside the WTC Oculus. The white pigeon looks imposing from the outside but it gets even better in the interior. There is a relevant scale difference between the space and humans. It’s an impressive feeling of being in an anthill. The white surfaces makes the black silhouette of the people moving around in a rush stand out even more.
The interior structure replicates a spinal cord and it’s impressive how lights are strategically positioned that the contrast between the lights and shadows is breathtaking.
