As all of you may know Thanksgiving is one of the most celebrated holidays in the US. I was lucky enough to have this celebration on my first week at the office.
The office has an annual Thanksgiving party in which each employee bring a homemade dish, we all sit around a long table and eat together. It is also time to be thankful for the projects completed and upcoming ones. It was a great opportunity to mingle and to get to know my colleagues at a more personal level.
What surprised me most was the amount of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options at the lunch. Healthy options are available and quite affordable everywhere here in Portland.
