This weekend trip it is one of those ones.Taking the train you can reach Dia:Beacon, Riggio Galleries, better known as Dia or Dia:Beacon. The museum is related to the Dia Art Foundarion. The building is a really nicely restored industrial building. Open in 2003, its located on the banks of the Hudson river. Before being turned to a museum the building was a a former Nabisco box-printing facility that was renovated by Dia with artist Robert Irwin. Dia:Beacon presents temporary exhibitions, as well as their regular collection.
There is a nice discount if you ride the train where you can pay less than 35 dollars for the Metro North and the museum ticktes. It is indeed a really nice expercience, I would strongly recommed to everyone to check it out.
