You may be wondering why so many expectations, and that is because this post goes back over five months ago when The Boss & The E Street Band performed several concerts through Spain (Barcelona, San Sebastian and Madrid) during The River Tour.
Unfortunately, at that time the tickets sold out within hours and I was not able to go to the concert. It is at this point when the New York’s adventure takes comes into play. As soon as I knew that I would work in New York, I immediately bought the tickets for the concert at New Jersey. It was settled; finally I was going to be able to experience a live concert by one of the musicians that I admire the most.
In addition, the concert was a good way of exploring The MetLife Stadium as a part of the American Sports Culture: thousands of fans having some beers, meeting new people, talking and having a good time at the parking lot before the concert. In such a way that the whole experience was worth it! Almost four hours of great music, in which songs as Jack of All Trades, Junglelang, Streets of Philadelphia or even a version of Patti’s Smith Because the Night were played. It was just simply stunning.
So, if you are in doubt about leaping across the Atlantic to the USA, here is a sample that could help tip the balance. Although sometimes it might seem complex and confused, at the end of the day we must not forget that The United States is being known as the land of opportunity.
