Arquitectonica completes the world’s largest cruise terminal in Miami

Arquitectonica has completed MSC’s new cruise terminal at PortMiami, considered the largest in the world by size. Spanning 45,700 square meters, the building is designed to handle up to 36,000 passengers per day and accommodate three cruise ships simultaneously.

The terminal takes the form of a long, slender structure at the eastern end of Dodge Island. Its volume rises at the western end to house the main lobby and VIP areas, while a narrower section extends towards the boarding and disembarkation gates.
