William Rawn Associates’ New Boston Museum of Science Venue Nears Completion

The William and Charlotte Bloomberg Public Science Common at Boston’s Museum of Science is nearing completion. Designed by William Rawn Associates, the new 10,000-square-foot venue will open on October 10, 2026, offering panoramic views of the Charles River and Boston skyline.

Flexible walls, retractable seating and immersive media technologies will allow the space to host everything from school programs to public events and performances. The venue will focus on major scientific topics including artificial intelligence, climate change, public health and space exploration.
