Ole Scheeren proposes a Mountain-Shaped Skyscraper for Vietnam

The architect Ole Scheeren wants to build a skyscraper in Vietnam’s largest city, called Ho Chi Minh,  from a really interesting perspective. The project “Empire City” aims to resemble the topography of the country’s natural landscape.

The skyscraper will include three towers, whose base will be a “mountain-shaped” podium. This podium will have terraced gardens similar to Vietnam’s paddy fields, while the towers will feature near the top a so-called “sky forest”.
