A Transformative Experience
With just one month left in my Architect-US experience in Los Angeles, I’ve taken time to reflect on these unforgettable 18 months. This program has shaped both my career and my life in ways I never imagined.
Moving to LA was a leap into the unknown. However, through this program, I’ve worked on large-scale projects—especially in the field of data centers—where architecture meets infrastructure and technology. These opportunities pushed me to grow technically and conceptually while helping me see architecture through a new lens.
Discovering My Path
This experience opened my eyes to many “sub-worlds” within architecture. I explored areas like sustainability, BIM, digital infrastructure, and healthcare design. As a result, I gained clarity on what excites me most as an architect.
It also gave me the confidence and tools to define my future. I’m now working toward two major goals: obtaining my architecture license in the United States and preparing for the LEED Green Associate accreditation exam. I feel more motivated than ever to keep learning and contributing to a more sustainable, technology-integrated future for architecture.
The People Who Made It Meaningful
Beyond the projects, what made this time truly special were the people I met. Over the last 18 months, I’ve built friendships that feel like family. My colleagues, mentors, and teammates have supported me every step of the way.
Even during challenges, they encouraged me to keep going. Their support and enthusiasm reminded me of the power of community in this profession.
What Comes Next
I’m leaving this chapter with a full heart and a sharper vision for the future. I’ll always be grateful for everything this Architect-US experience in Los Angeles has given me—professionally, personally, and emotionally. In architecture, opportunities often come to those who dare to move—geographically, professionally, and creatively.
