A New Chapter, A New Experience

Life is full of challenges and opportunities, and I’m currently living proof of that. After spending the last few years building a life in Toronto, Canada—both personally and professionally—I’m now stepping into a bold new chapter: my second migration, this time to Los Angeles, California.

This move is more than just a relocation. It’s a moment of transformation, fueled by dreams, purpose, and a desire to continue growing in both architecture and engineering. The transition has been emotional. I carry with me the nostalgia of the life I created in Canada: the people, the places, the systems that gave me a sense of stability. But along with that, I carry excitement—for the new challenges, the new collaborations, and the new inspirations I know this city will bring.

Rewriting the Meaning of Reinvention

My first migration taught me that starting over is rarely comfortable—but always worth it. It requires emotional flexibility, practical planning, and above all, resilience. That word—resilience—has become my anchor during this transition. I remind myself every day that reinvention doesn’t mean losing who I was in Toronto. It means expanding into who I can become in Los Angeles.

Here, in this vibrant and complex city, I see new opportunities to deepen my work. From large-scale engineering collaborations to human-centered design rooted in neuroarchitecture, everything I do is tied to my belief that spaces can—and should—enhance emotional well-being.

Whether I’m developing BIM models, contributing to infrastructure design with teams at SENER, or writing books and hosting therapeutic conversations, the mission remains the same: to create spaces and experiences that transform lives.

Between Movement and Purpose

Migration is not only about changing countries—it’s about changing inner landscapes. It’s about building new rhythms, creating new definitions of success, and embracing uncertainty as part of growth. Los Angeles is already teaching me valuable lessons about flexibility, cultural diversity, and professional reinvention.

I know I’m not alone in this. Many of us are navigating transitions—whether it’s a new city, a new job, or an internal transformation. If that’s you, I want to say: your story matters. And this moment of change might be exactly what you need to reconnect with your purpose.

✨ So I ask: What changes are you embracing right now? How are you choosing to grow through them? I’d love to hear your thoughts and reflections.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey. This isn’t just a move—it’s a movement. And it’s only just beginning.
