Hello, I want to share with you today about my life in San Francisco in Kellogg Architects Ink during these two month. First I want to start from my new working experience. I the beginning of October I started to work on project of private house calls » BARBOUR RESEDENCE». It’s a very beautiful wooden house near San Francisco in Kentfield. It was build in 1965 by John Marsh Davis famous architect of these time. This house has unique design with a lot of wooden joints and beams. I loved it since I just saw it first time. Martin Kellogg gave me task to build the model of this house in Revit. It was pretty challenging because I was new in this program and this house seamed so difficult to build for me. But It was a really good hand drawings with all of dimensions and I made it really well. Then I added materials to the model in SketchUp and put a scenes.
We with Martin went to the site to study this building and meet with customers. It was really nice creative people which really appreciated architect’s idea and they asked us to provide lightning options for their house and made some renovations for example: demolish and change retaining wall. We made a lot of photos and measured some things. It was really good experience for me. I love to work with beautiful houses. So, then I worked with lightning for this house.
About activities I went to Seattle to visit with my friends in the beginning of October. It was really beautiful Fall in Washington state is amazing. I visited Snoqualmie Falls which is amazing every time. And then in San Francisco I went to Redwood forest near Santa Cruz. I really like nature and spend weekends in nature places is my favorite thing. I also like to walk in Golden Gate Park sometimes, because it just in front of my house.
This is what my life here is look like and I really enjoying every day and every moment.
