An arena designed by the international firm AECOM will soon open its doors after more than three years of construction. The oval-shaped stadium is located near the recently completed Sofi Stadium complex and, like the arena, will host events during the upcoming 2028 Olympic Games. Almost the entire structure is covered by a diamond-shaped structural grid shell clad with metal panels, similar to the initial designs launched in 2019.
