Soon, New Yorkers will have the opportunity to swim in a one-of-a-kind pool: a floating star in the East River with freshly filtered water. After more than 10 years of planning, +POOL has secured its location at Pier 35, near Manhattan’s Lower East Side. This innovative project will not only allow residents to swim, but will also purify one million gallons of river water each day, contributing to the health of the waters. With an adaptable design, swimming, water sports, children’s activities and more will be enjoyed in a safe and clean environment.
